Ben Camille founded Travel Defend in Florida in 2022 to do one thing properly: let a traveller enter their trip once and compare real plans from several insurers side by side, instead of filling in the same form on five different websites.
Travel Defend is a broker, not an insurer. It does not underwrite policies or decide claims — and because it is paid a commission by the insurer, a policy costs the same here as buying it direct, with help through the claims process at no extra charge. The company has placed more than 12,000 policies covering over 25,000 travellers.
He is accountable for what this blog publishes. If a guide here is wrong, it is the company’s mistake to correct.
